Agile Gauge

Getting started

Agile Gauge is currently a private Marketplace listing — it is not yet publicly searchable, and installing it requires a direct link from us. That will change at public launch; this page will be updated when it does.

  1. Install from the Marketplace. Use the private listing link to install Agile Gauge into your Azure DevOps organization. You'll need organization-level permission to install extensions.
  2. Open the hub. Agile Gauge adds a tab inside Azure Boards. Open it from any project.
  3. Choose a project and team. Most views are scoped to a project and team, the same way the rest of Azure Boards is.
  4. Map your workflow states in Configuration. Flow Metrics, Cycle Time, WIP Monitor and Aging & Blocked all depend on knowing which of your work item states count as "in progress" and which count as "done" — set this once in Configuration.
  5. Set a WIP limit. Also in Configuration — this is what the WIP Monitor measures against.
  6. Start the trial, or activate a licence key. Every organization gets a 14-day trial automatically, no card required. After that, an organization admin activates a purchased licence key and assigns seats — see pricing.
